The best and brightest of our FPA alumni are invited to apply for the FPA Alumni internship which is a paid internship, and requires on-campus residence. FPA interns have to have excelled in a minimum of 4 clinical courses, published at least 2 papers, and presented at a regional or national conference. They need to be rising college sophomores or higher. Applications are by invitations only.

Several of our FPA Alumni interns are also recipients of the American Academy of Neurology’s “AAN is rewarding Neuroscience” internship.

  • Sofia Malik

    Sophia is an FPA Alum and a rising sophomore at Wash U in St. Louis, majoring in Computational Biology. She is also the recipient of this year’s American Academy of Neurology College Internship award.

  • Nofel Iftikhar

    Nofel is an FPA Alum, a returning intern, and a junior at the University of Florida, majoring in Biology and History, on the premed track.

  • Sophie Taylor

    Sophie is a rising sophomore at Boston University majoring in Biology. Sophie is also the recipient of this year’s American Academy of Neurology College Internship award.

  • Anjali Banerjee

    Anjali is an FPA Alum and a rising sophomore at the University of Georgia on the pre-med track. She is also the recipient of this year’s American Academy of Neurology College Internship award.

  • Karthik Stead

    Karthik is a rising sophomore at NYU, majoring in Dramatic Writing. He has worked for FPA for four years, handling escape room design, tech support, mannequin care and experiment set up.

  • Ethan Nichols

    Ethan is an FPA Alum and winner of the research excellence award at SAEM 2023. He is a rising sophomore at Colgate University, on the pre-med track.

  • Rishank Chillakuru

    Rishank is a rising junior at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio where he is majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He is also the recipient of this year’s American Academy of Neurology College Internship award.
